Subject: Launch of the WHO Labour Care Guide and User’s Manual
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the launch of the WHO Labour Care Guide and its User’s Manual (attached).
We would like to express our gratitude for your contributions, from the development of the WHO LCG to its pilot testing.
The WHO Labour Care Guide was developed to facilitate effective implementation of the WHO intrapartum care recommendations, and aims to support good-quality, evidence-based, respectful care irrespective of the setting or level of health care. The manual has been developed to help skilled health personnel who care for women during labour and childbirth to successfully use the WHO Labour Care Guide.
